Filipino Internet Users Most Engaged In Social Networking

Filipino internet users are the most engaged in social networking online, a leading online audience measurement service said Wednesday.
In a press statement, comScore said the Philippines has the highest social networking usage in the Asia-Pacificregion with more than 90% of its entire Web population visiting a social networking site during the month of February 2010, followed by Australia (89.6% penetration) and Indonesia (88.6% penetration).
“Social networkers in the Philippines also showed the highest level of engagement on social networking sites averaging 5.5 hours per visitor in February, with visitors frequenting the social networking category an average of 26 times during the month,” the comScore statement said citing its latest report on social networking activity in the region.

To help make summer in the Philippines cooler and more enjoyable, Swedish home appliance maker Electrolux is now offering its newest food storage and air conditioning products.
“The summer we are facing is predicted to be one of the hottest yet, so we believe that these products designed to keep users refreshed in different ways will really resonate with Filipino families. Pure and cool air and fresh food from our new products will go a long way to make this summer more comfortable and enjoyable,” said Malu Estaris, general manager of Electrolux Philippines.
Their latest products have an energy efficiency level as high as 11.6, among the most energy efficient in its class, which means these cost less to operate, and that these release less harmful carbon dioxide.

MANILA, Philippines – During Holy Week, Malaysian actress Carmen Soo opted to stay in the country to accomplish some work commitments and to hit the beach with some of her non-showbiz friends in between. As a matter of fact, she just came back from Boracay where she happily had some time off to tour the island via the famous paraw sailing.
As for latest updates about her showbiz career, she said she hopes to stay longer here to do more projects with the Kapamilya network. In the meantime, Soo is determined to improve her Tagalog so that she can maximize her TV exposure in the Kapamilya network. Her last acting stint was in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” together with Luis Manzano in December of 2009.

We went to Star City last sunday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. It was our first time at Star city and we really enjoyed our stay. More photos after the jump.
UPDATE: Star City is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on December 25.
The temperature inside Snow World is -15 degrees celcius. We only lasted for 30 minutes inside even we are wearing thick jackets. Cell phones with camera, Digicams and videocams are not allowed inside. If you want a souvenir picture, you’ll need to pay 100 php per picture.

Dino Island Museum is the latest addition to Star City’s main attractions. It has life-size dinosaurs that have lifelike appearances as they are equipped with the state-of-the-art technology called “animatronics.” It makes the monsters move, stare at you, breathe and fight. Ice Skating At The SM Mall Of Asia

We celebrated my Dad’s birthday at the SM Mall of Asia last Monday. As a treat, my daughter and siblings went ice skating. They were all beginners that’s why they’ve always stumble everytime they tried to skate to the center of the rink. Happy Birthday Erpat!
